Costa Cruises has named Jorge Serrano Martín de Vidales as its new Americas region director, replacing Dario Rustico, who is leaving after over 20 years with the company. Serrano will oversee commercial strategy and business development in the Americas, reporting directly to Luigi Stefanelli, the company's worldwide sales vice president.
Costa Cruises has announced the appointment of Jorge Serrano Martín de Vidales as its new Americas region director, effective January 2027. Serrano will succeed Dario Rustico, who is departing the company on September 14 to pursue personal goals after more than two decades of service. ## Leadership Transition and Strategic Focus Serrano will report directly to Luigi Stefanelli, the worldwide sales vice president of Costa Cruises. In his new role, he will lead the company’s commercial strategy and business development across the Americas region. Currently, Serrano is overseeing trade sales for Costa in Spain and Portugal. Until his formal transition to the role, the Americas Region team will report directly to Stefanelli. Stefanelli praised Serrano’s extensive commercial expertise and track record of driving growth in diverse markets. He stated that Serrano’s appointment reflects Costa’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and leadership.
