Ambassador Cruise Line Launches New TV Ad Campaign
Ambassador Cruise Line is launching its second television advertising campaign on September 16, focusing on onboard experiences and connections.

Ambassador Cruise Line will launch its second-ever television advertising campaign on Wednesday, September 16. The campaign focuses on the moments and human connections that define a holiday at sea.
This new marketing push arrives over three years after the line's TV debut with its 'Enjoy Yourself' campaign in April 2023. Developed with the independent creative agency Purple Creative and production company Wonderhatch, the new ads will initially air across UK linear television and BVOD (Broadcaster Video On Demand) until October 18.
Campaign Focus and Evolution
Gordon Nardini, CEO at Ambassador Cruise Line, stated that the first campaign helped introduce the brand to a wider audience. He explained the rationale for the new direction. "When we launched 'Enjoy Yourself' in 2023, Ambassador was still a very young brand," Nardini said. "Three years on, we've grown considerably, and we wanted our next campaign to move that story forward."
The new campaign is titled The Warmest Welcome at Sea Because Moments Matter. Nardini described it as a natural evolution. It shifts focus from simply enjoying oneself to the specific experiences and memories that give a holiday meaning. Holidays aren't just remembered for where you went, he added. They're remembered for the welcoming moments along the way.
Production and Creative Approach
The company emphasized its collaborative and technologically enhanced production process. Nardini was open about the methods used. We've used AI and CGI, but the starting point is genuine Ambassador footage: real ships, real destinations and real experiences, he stated. The technology was used to enhance and combine this authentic material in new ways.
According to the cruise line's press release, the campaign was created to feel unmistakably Ambassador while allowing flexibility to tell different stories as the business expands.
Campaign Executions and Scheduling
The new campaign features two distinct advertising executions. One highlights Ambassador's core no-fly cruise offering aboard its ships Ambience and Ambition. The other is dedicated to its Caribbean fly-cruise program operated on the Renaissance.
During its launch week, the campaign will run exclusively as 60-second advertisements. Airtime will be split equally between the no-fly and Caribbean fly-cruise versions.
Target Audience and Placement
The advertising activity will run across a broad mix of television channels. A particular focus will be placed on travel and holiday programming. The cruise line also plans to target shows that are popular with the demographic of travelers aged 55 and over.
Gordon Nardini concluded that the campaign, created together with Purple Creative and Wonderhatch, aims to capture the essence of the Ambassador experience. The goal is to highlight the connections and memories formed during a voyage.
