Disney Cruise Line has officially revealed Disney Believe, its fourth Wish Class ship, with a maiden voyage scheduled for December 18, 2027 from Fort Lauderdale. The ship is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard and will sail four- and five-night voyages to The Bahamas and the Caribbean from Port Everglades. Ports of call will include Nassau, Cozumel, and Disney's private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Features and Experiences

The ship will feature a mix of new and returning themed venues, including the world’s first Encanto stage adaptation, Frozen, Inside Out, Marvel, and Haunted Mansion experiences, plus new lounges and dining concepts. The premiere of the 'Encanto' stage show in the Walt Disney Theatre is a headline addition, following Mirabel's story with songs like "We Don’t Talk About Bruno" and Colombian cultural elements. It will be joined by the returning 'Tangled: The Musical' and the 'Disney Seas the Adventure' show.

Familiar concepts from earlier Wish Class ships will also appear. This includes the Frozen-themed restaurant Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, the Worlds of Marvel rotational dining venue, and the Haunted Mansion Parlor lounge. The Inside Out-inspired Joyful Sweets shop will offer new treats based on the characters Anxiety and Envy from 'Inside Out 2'.

Newly themed lounges include the Snow White-inspired Wishing Well Lounge, the Little Mermaid piano bar Sea Notes, and the astronomer-themed pub Skygazers. Additional new venues are a 'Zootopia' entertainment hub and coffee bars themed to 'Big Hero 6' and 'Moana'.

Fan reaction to the announcement has been mixed. Many welcomed the new additions like the 'Encanto' production but criticized the repetition of themes like Frozen, Haunted Mansion, and Marvel. One Reddit user said, "Anyone else a little disappointed in the believe announcements? Was hoping for something else other than the haunted mansion parlor again." Another suggested, I was really hoping they would do a Trader Sam’s/Enchanted Tiki Room bar in the place of Haunted Mansion. Critics argued the ship lacks sufficient differentiation from its predecessors, despite these unique features.

Accommodations and Itineraries

Disney Believe will offer the exclusive Believe Tower Suite and sail four- and five-night voyages to The Bahamas and the Caribbean, including stops at Disney’s private islands. The signature suite is nearly 2,000 square feet, spans two stories inside the ship's forward funnel, and sleeps eight guests. It features four and a half bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and rooms themed to different Magic Kingdom lands.
