Seabourn 2029 Ocean Voyages Add New Maiden Calls
Seabourn has unveiled its 2029 Ocean Voyages collection, featuring new itineraries to Egypt and the Gulf of Bothnia alongside enhanced Alaska and Canada/New England seasons with extended stays and boutique ports.
Seabourn will return to Egypt in 2029 for the first time in more than five years. The luxury line's new Ocean Voyages collection, unveiled on October 14, 2026, introduces maiden calls across Northern Europe and expanded cultural access in the Mediterranean.
Between May and September 2029, Seabourn Quest will sail a new seven-day itinerary into Sweden and Finland's Gulf of Bothnia. The voyage introduces maiden calls at six ports: Alta and Frøya in Norway, and Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma, and Oulu in Sweden and Finland.
Mediterranean and Egypt voyages highlight cultural access
Seabourn Ovation will handle Mediterranean duties from March through November 2029. The ship offers 21 unique itineraries covering the Western Med, Italy, the Adriatic, and the Aegean. Select voyages feature an overnight stay in Alexandria. "Egypt is back," Seabourn said. Another maiden call is Kapsali on the Greek island of Kythira, a harbor off-limits to larger vessels.
Alaska and Canada/New England seasons feature extended stays and boutique ports
Seabourn Encore returns to Alaska from May to September 2029. It will operate seven-day voyages between Juneau and Vancouver, alongside longer 10- and 11-day itineraries extending to Valdez, Whittier, and College Fjord. Every Alaska voyage includes glacier viewing and an expedition team for expert interpretation. Select itineraries also feature scenic cruising along British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest for whale and wildlife viewing.
In autumn, Seabourn Quest shifts to Canada and New England. The season features 12- and 13-day voyages between September and October. Guests will enjoy overnight stays in Boston, Quebec City, and St. John's. The itineraries also visit boutique ports like Gaspé, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and Prince Edward Island.
Onboard experiences enhance destination immersion
The line's signature complimentary 'Evening at Ephesus' offers a private event with classical music among illuminated ruins after hours. New specialty voyages for 2029 include 'Italian Coast & Fireworks Over Corsica' and 'Pyramids & Evening at Ephesus'.
Optional Ventures by Seabourn experiences include active Zodiac cruises and kayak excursions guided by the expedition team. In select Mediterranean ports, guests can join Seabourn chefs ashore for 'Shopping with the Chef' visits to local markets and specialty food shops.
Collection shows Seabourn’s global reach and fleet capabilities
The 2029 Ocean Voyages collection features 166 sailings visiting more than 180 unique destinations across five regions. Many voyages can be combined to create longer journeys of 14, 21, 28 or more days. The collection sails aboard three ships from the fleet: Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Quest, and Seabourn Encore.
Seabourn Quest will also offer extended and overnight stays in several European cities in 2029, including Bordeaux, Rouen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Edinburgh, and Hamburg. Guests can visit Turku, Finland during its landmark 900th anniversary year; the city was founded in 1229 and is Finland's oldest. The 2029 Ocean Voyages collection sails aboard Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Quest, and Seabourn Encore.
