Azamara Cruises has unveiled its 2029 World Cruise, available in three options for the first time: a full 195-night sailing and two shorter journeys of 179 and 139 nights. The flagship Azamara Quest will set out from San Diego and return to Copenhagen, covering five continents, 40 countries and 126 ports, including 12 maiden ports, the cruise line said in a press release.

The table shows the key metrics for each sailing. The 195-night route is the longest and most geographically expansive world cruise available in 2029, according to Azamara.

Full 195-Night Highlights

The 195-night journey will feature 16 overnight stays and 60 late nights, with 65 percent of the sailing time spent in port. Azamara’s head of itinerary planning, Michael Pawlus, said the company has “built into each leg of the journey the time guests need to truly connect with the places they visit.” The line also highlighted that the cruise will include exclusive events and AzAmazing Evenings, along with additional inclusions that will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Shorter Options

The 179-night sailing departs from San Diego and arrives in London. It covers five continents and offers 52 late nights, 16 overnight stays and 12 maiden ports. The 139-night route begins in Sydney and ends in Copenhagen, also spanning five continents. It includes 43 late nights, 11 overnight stays and four maiden ports.

Booking Timeline

Azamara will open reservations for the full 195-night 2029 World Cruise on September 23, 2026. On that date, the cruise line will publish the complete itineraries, details about the exclusive events, and additional inclusions. The two shorter legs will become available for booking on October 14, 2026.

Azamara also launched a 175-night 2028 World Cruise aboard the Azamara Onward earlier this year. That sailing covers six continents, 40 countries and 91 ports and opened for bookings in March.

The 2029 World Cruise collection marks the first time Azamara offers multiple length options for a single world cruise, giving guests a range of experiences from a full 195-night adventure to more condensed 179- and 139-night itineraries. The company’s press release emphasized the extensive time in port and the focus on meaningful connections with each destination. The upcoming release of detailed itineraries and event schedules is expected to further clarify the unique experiences planned for each leg of the journey.
