Extended Dining Hours on Carnival Conquest

Carnival Cruise Line has begun a trial on the Carnival Conquest that keeps Guy’s Burger Joint open later than the usual 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. closing time found on most vessels. The brand ambassador, John Heald, announced the test on Facebook, noting that the response from guests has been "fantastic".

Heald explained that the Conquest was selected for the trial because its shorter sailings make a quick bite more appealing than a longer meal in the Main Dining Room. The ship’s itineraries are typically 3- or 4-night cruises to the Bahamas, and the crew believes a later burger option will fit well with the casual pace of these trips.

While the exact later closing time has not yet been confirmed, and the venue may not stay open every evening, guests who have recently sailed on the Conquest have reported enjoying the opportunity to grab a burger after the usual dinner service.

Impact on Main Dining Rooms

Heald clarified that the extended hours for Guy’s Burger Joint do not affect the operating times of the ship’s main dining venues. The Main Dining Room, Renoir Restaurant, and Monet Restaurant will continue to serve guests as scheduled on Decks 3 and 4. "This is in addition to, not instead of, the Main [Dining] Room," Heald said.

New Late Snack Option

In addition to the burger venue, several Carnival ships are now offering a new late snack: customizable nacho bowls from the BlueIguana Cantina. The snack is part of a fleet-wide rollout that began in late July. The BlueIguana Cantina normally closes at 2:30 p.m.; the nacho bowls reopen at 3 p.m. on days at sea and at 4 p.m. on days in port, remaining available until 6 p.m. The offering is also available on the Conquest, giving guests another late-day option.
