Carnival Cruise Line has notified booked guests about 11 itinerary updates across four different ships in the fleet. The changes involve minor port swaps or day/time adjustments for cruises scheduled from November 8, 2026 to April 17, 2028.

Carnival Spirit

The 2,124-guest Carnival Spirit will no longer visit Princess Cays on its Sunday, November 8, 2026 departure from Mobile. Instead, the 6-night cruise will call at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay on Wednesday, November 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ship will still stop at Celebration Key as originally planned. Excursions for Princess Cays will be cancelled and refunded.

Carnival Legend and Carnival Elation

Both the 2,124-guest Carnival Legend and the 2,190-guest Carnival Elation have a single itinerary adjustment each.

  • Carnival Legend departs Tampa on December 13, 2026. The 6-night sailing swaps the days of visiting Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, but otherwise remains unchanged.
  • Carnival Elation departs Jacksonville on April 15, 2028. The 5-night sailing also swaps the days of Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay.

Carnival Conquest

All except the March 27, 2028 cruise involve a day change for RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and a slight time adjustment. The March 27, 2028 sailing reverses the order of the two ports and changes the RelaxAway time to 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Why the Adjustments?

The email notices to guests state only that itineraries are adjusted, without explaining the reason. Such changes are common when cruise lines refine fleet deployments and schedules. They may aim to avoid overcrowding, accommodate berth availability at private destinations, or balance calls at exclusive ports like Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. The adjustments will automatically modify shore excursions as needed.
