Carnival Corporation has earned a spot on Forbes’ prestigious 2026 list of America’s Best Employers for Women, marking its ninth annual recognition. The cruise giant was ranked among the top 700 U.S. companies based on an independent survey of over 146,000 women working for organizations with at least 1,000 employees in the country. ## Survey Methodology and Criteria The rankings were determined through a comprehensive survey conducted over three years, gathering more than 4 million employer evaluations. Participants assessed their employers across multiple dimensions, including company culture, workplace atmosphere, gender representation, and parental leave policies. Additionally, the survey analyzed the percentage of women holding executive and board positions at each company. ## Carnival’s Commitment to Inclusivity Bettina Deynes, Carnival’s global chief human resources officer, expressed pride in the recognition, stating that it reflects the experiences of women across the company’s diverse workforce. With over 160,000 team members from nearly 150 countries, Carnival aims to create an environment where employees have opportunities for growth and meaningful careers. Deynes added, "We are committed to raising the bar as we strive to become the world’s leading choice for hospitality, travel, and leisure careers." ## Recent Milestones in Gender Equality This accolade follows Carnival’s recent announcement of Daniela Gargiulo as the first female Staff Captain in its global fleet. The appointment underscores the company’s ongoing efforts to promote gender equality in leadership roles within the cruise industry.
